About us

About us

Most cold weather gear is built on an old assumption.

More bulk means more warmth.

We started this company to challenge that idea.

For decades advanced insulation materials developed for aerospace and scientific applications never made their way into outdoor clothing. Technologies originally designed for extreme environments simply were not used in everyday gear.

We saw an opportunity to change that.

By working with next generation aerogel insulation materials like GHOST and GHOST X we can build products that deliver serious thermal performance without the bulk traditionally required to stay warm. The result is thinner lighter gear engineered for real conditions.

Our mission

Our mission is simple. Help people stay warm longer in harsh environments.

Many cold weather products perform well for a short period of time. But once moisture builds up or insulation compresses warmth disappears. Anyone who has spent long hours outside in freezing conditions knows the problem.

We build gear designed to extend that window. To keep you warm when exposure becomes longer colder and more demanding.

Born from experience

This company was founded by people who have worked and operated in extreme environments.

Coming from a military background we have spent long periods exposed to cold conditions where equipment is not a luxury. It is a necessity. Those experiences shaped how we think about gear performance and reliability.

We design products for the environments we know ourselves.

The Lab Rats

Every product is tested by our Lab Rats. A community of field testers who use our gear in real environments before it reaches the market.

Lab Rats get early access to new equipment and keep the gear they test marked with a Lab Rat stamp. Their feedback plays a direct role in how our products evolve.

Because real performance does not happen in a lab.

It happens outside.

Designed in Scandinavia

We come from the north.

Cold wind and long winters are part of everyday life here. The landscape is harsh but it is also where we spend most of our time working exploring skiing hiking and testing gear.

The environment we live in is the same environment our products are designed for.

What comes next

We will keep developing new ground breaking materials

The materials we are using today are only the beginning.

A new generation of advanced textiles and insulation technologies is emerging. Many of them have never been used in outdoor gear before. Our goal is to continue bringing these technologies into real world products.

The future of cold weather gear will not be bulkier.

It will be smarter lighter and engineered differently.
